We have seen so many data breaches nowadays, and we may actually not even trust that the data we deleted or recalled was timely and truly erased from service providers. We cannot fully rely on service providers to protect our data. We should start to take our own actions. For example, instead of sending every character of your message directly, you can send its partial information with Rushsea Links to protect your information. Because the links will be in-valid after the given expiration dates, even if someone later hacked into your account, they might not be able to figure out the complete information (such as your birthday, your home address, or your pass-phrase) easily. We cannot 100% protect our data, but we should at least create some difficulties for bad guys when they are trying to steal our information.
